Cybersecurity company Edgescan’s continued development since its creation in 2014 has resulted in a major recruitment drive over the coming 12 months.
Dublin-based start-up Edgescan is looking to more than double its workforce in the coming year, with 30 new positions to be created amid a boom in business for the company.
With a lengthening client list and projected business growth, the company is going through a major operational expansion, and founder Eoin Keary is already eyeing up talent to fill roles across multiple disciplines.
“We have large enterprise clients that are expanding themselves, so we need to expand to match that need,” said Keary, who added that “a couple” of the roles are already filled.
Experienced or not
Edgescan’s clients operate across numerous industries, such as government, banking, legal, pharma, finance and gaming.
“We shall be looking to hire both experienced and graduate development and security operations staff to work with our innovation, R&D and operations teams,” said Rahim Jina, operations director at the company.
The news comes hours after a major announcement in Munster, where Cork-based CoreHR revealed plans to hire 300 people throughout the country over the next three years.
Of that number, 180 will be based at its headquarters in Cork, followed by 70 in its Kilkenny office and 50 at its Dublin office.
Additionally, between 20 and 30 jobs are to be created at its London office, with recruitment for these positions beginning immediately.
