The Credit Union InfoSecurity Conference started in 2002 with a small group of a few dozen credit union professionals gathering to discuss the latest security trends. Since then, it has grown to over a hundred security and IT decision makers attending from credit unions across the nation, and a handful of international credit unions as well.

This is a one-of-a-kind conference - a security conference dedicated solely to credit unions. Jeremiah Grossman

Chief of Security Strategy | SentinelOne

Jeremiah Grossman is Chief of Security Strategy (SentinelOne), Professional Hacker, Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Founder of WhiteHat Security, and his career spans nearly 20 years and he has lived a literal lifetime in computer security to become one of the industry's biggest names. He has received a number of industry awards, been publicly thanked by Microsoft, Mozilla, Google, Facebook, and many others for his security research. Jeremiah has written hundreds of articles and white papers. As an industry veteran, he has been featured in hundreds of media outlets around the world. Jeremiah has been a guest speaker on six continents at hundreds of events including and many top universities. All of this was after Jeremiah served as an information security officer at Yahoo!

 

Toni Buhrke

Director of Systems Engineering | ForeScout

Toni Buhrke, is a Director of a Systems Engineering team at ForeScout and is a frequent speaker at various security and customer events about the benefits of next generation network access control in today’s complex IT environments. She has written numerous blogs on IT security and NAC, has had several published, and was the technical advisor for the book “Definitive Guide to Next –Generation Network Access Control.” She is instrumental in helping companies utilize ForeScout’s CounterACT product to address security initiatives for everything from endpoint visibility all the way through to BYOD rollouts. Toni has worked in IT security for over 20 years, holds an MBA, and is CISSP certified. She is an active member of the IT security community, and belongs to several groups, including ISC2 and ISSA.

As the co-founder and CEO of EventTracker, Ananth was one of the architects of the EventTracker SIEM solution. With an extensive background in product development and operations for telecom network management, he has consulted for many companies on their compliance strategy, audit policy and automated reporting processes. Ananth is a leading expert in IT compliance with over 25 years of experience in IT control and operations, and speaks frequently on these topics. He has been involved in product development for various companies including Ciena, Westinghouse Wireless, and Equatorial Communications. + Mark Berman | Principal and Co-Founder | Horsetail Technologies

Mark Berman is a Principal and Co-Founder of Horsetail Technologies, LLC which is a Managed Services, Solution Integration and Cloud Management provider based out of Baltimore, MD. He graduated from The College of William and Mary with a degree in Computer Science and from Loyola University with a Master’s in Business. Berman has a variety of Cisco and Dell Security certifications and is active in the compliance area of the credit union movement. He has provided examiner training for the NCUA, presented at a variety of industry conferences and been quoted and written for a variety of credit union focused publications.

+ Andrew Hay | Chief Information Security Officer | DataGravity

With over 15 years of data security experience in various roles inside organizations as well as advising them, Andrew serves as the chief information security officer at DataGravity. He is responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s comprehensive data security strategy.

Prior to DataGravity, Andrew was the director of research at OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco) and the director of applied security research and chief evangelist at CloudPassage. He also previously served as a senior security analyst for 451 Research’s enterprise security practice (ESP). Andrew draws on his data security expertise to share commentary and thought leadership about the industry, having published a series of playbooks, guides and articles in trade publications. His thought leadership and security expertise have been recognized by the SANS Institute, IT Knowledge Exchange, CEOWorld, as well as other organizations.

+ Leo Maduzia | SVP, Chief IT Compliance a]nd Risk Officer | San Diego County Credit Union

Leo Maduzia, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, serves as SVP and Chief IT Compliance and Risk Officer for San Diego County Credit Union with $6.9 billion in assets, 295,000 members, and 38 branches. He has 20+ years in Info Sec and IT Risk Management for E*TRADE Financial online brokerage & banking, Constellation Energy Nuclear Power Plants, and Intuit Financial.

+ Mark Nelsen | Senior Vice President of Risk Products | Visa

Mark is responsible for leading Visa's global Risk Products and Business Intelligence organization whose teams deliver value across fraud risk, credit risk, and business intelligence solutions. In this role, his focus spans across new technology, new product development, core product management, and product optimization often including sophisticated solutions serving merchants, acquirers and client financial institutions. These product solutions are commercialized and utilized in critical business functions across more than 200 countries and territories.

+ Michael Schell | Vice President | DaumSec

Michael Schell is a former US Army active duty veteran and highly experienced cyber security executive based in Downtown Los Angeles. He has multiple years of experience as a former cyber security engineer, and Information Security Officer for a health care facility. Michael is currently the Vice President of Business Development for DatumSec which focuses helping organizations manage third-party risk.

+ Rick Ewart | CEO | Ewart Technologies

Rick Ewart is a CPA and a CISSP. He is also CEO of Ewart Technologies and a partner in Ewart & Associates, a CPA firm that provides audit services solely to credit unions. His skill set is varied and covers most areas of technology that a credit union might utilize. His clients run the gamut from the very small to the very large, and even after 20+ years, Rick still gets a kick out of engineering technologies in creative ways to maximize their value to an organization.

+ Todd Feinman | CEO, Chairman and Founder | Spirion

Todd Feinman is an entrepreneur and thought leader on information technology and data protection. He has over 20 years of experience spanning a decade in security consulting and ethical hacking and another decade in driving revenue growth and scaling businesses making him uniquely positioned to run high tech businesses. He is an internationally recognized security expert, entrepreneur, author, and speaker. Prior to Spirion, Feinman was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he grew their information security consulting practice. He also worked as a Product Manager for Microsoft in their enterprise server group and was the Chief Information Officer of an energy retailer in New York City. Feinman holds a MBA from Harvard Business School.

+ Matt Overin | Manager of Fraud Risk Management | Logix Federal Credit Union

Matt Overin has over 30 years of banking experience ranging from Bank Teller to Back Office Operations to Regional Sales and Service Manager. Matt has worked in retail and commercial banking, residential lending and insurance sales. For the last three years Matt has been manager of the Fraud Risk Management department of Logix Federal Credit Union. After changing their name from Lockheed Federal Credit Union in 2012, Logix quickly found that a separate fraud department was needed to combat the growing fraud trends they were seeing. Matt was brought in to share is expertise and knowledge in front line and back office banking, translating those skills into fraud prevention, detection, investigation and recovery.

+ Jim Brahm | Managing Director & CEO | Security Compliance Associates

Mr. Brahm is the managing Director and CEO of Security Compliance Associates. His primary role is running the day to day business of SCA, ensuring that product and service deliverables are competitive and ‘better than advertised’. He is also responsible for the long term strategic direction of the company including effective capital management, new product development, strategic alliances and business development.

Prior to joining SCA, Jim enjoyed a 26 year career with FIS, Certegy, Equifax Card Services and Telecredit, Inc. Jim held numerous executive operational and sales roles during his career in the Payments Industry and is widely known as an effective and impactful leader. Jim was responsible for many large, strategic sales which significantly helped grow the revenues of the company. His most recent role at FIS was SVP and Chief Operating Officer for the Credit card division, which include 4 large business units and over 1,000 associates. Jim attended University of Tampa and University of South Florida with majors in economics and management. Jim serves on several local community focused organizations boards and councils.

+ Heather Howland | Vice President | Preempt

Heather Howland is Vice President of Marketing. Heather has over 20 years of experience marketing enterprise security and infrastructure solutions at both innovative startups and market leading companies. Prior to Preempt, Heather was Vice President of Marketing for Lacoon Mobile Security (acquired by Check Point in April 2015). She has also held senior marketing roles at Q1 Labs (acquired by IBM Security) Ascendent Systems (acquired by BlackBerry), Phonetic Systems (acquired by Nuance Communications) Xylogics (Acquired by Bay Networks). Heather earned her BA degree in Marketing and English from the University of New Hampshire.

+ Mike Fitzmaurice | Vice President of Workflow Technology | Nintex

Mike Fitzmaurice is the Vice President of Workflow Technology for Nintex, and in that role he travels worldwide speaking about the benefits of leveraging technology to securely automate business processes inside organizations.

+ Robert Miles | CISO as a Service - Director | Ongoing Operations

Prior to joining OGO and running their CISO as a service offering (CISOaaS), Miles served as Chief Security Officer for The Cerebellum Group, where he was responsible for PCI compliance. He also served as Director of Information Security for PSCU for 15 years and has extensive, multi-industry experience in mobile application security, web application security, security information and event management, credit card fraud prevention, intrusion detection and prevention, and firewall services.

+ Scott B. Suhy | CEO | NetWatcher

As an entrepreneur, Scott has successfully built businesses for large, mid-size and start-up companies over the past 25 years. Scott has a great balance of deep technical skills, broad leadership, and business experience. Prior to NetWatcher, Scott co-founded PointAbout (a mobile applications company sold to 3Pillar Global), grew GreenLine Systems (a data analytics company sold to AT Solutions) and was a General Manager at Microsoft for over 15 years. Scott has a BS in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

+ Trent Henson | Chief Technology Officer | Pure IT Credit Union Services

Trent has over twenty-seven years of experience designing advanced, network architectures, enterprise applications and web-based data management interfaces that improve business operations, service quality and cost effectiveness. Trent works closely with Pure IT Credit Union Services clients to architect the optimal solutions that improve operational efficiencies and security while containing cost. Trent has held a number of executive positions in the IT industry, where he became an expert in advising clients on strategic technology strategies for promoting business growth. Prior to Pure IT, Trent served as the CIO for Asgard Cloud Services and CTO of a healthcare information company that was a technology offshoot of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He owned his own company, BlueInk Technologies for over a decade after selling his previous partnership, EdView to Apple Computer.
