Infosecurity Europe 2025 unveils new event features in response to AI reshaping cybersecurity priorities
Infosecurity Europe, ExCeL London, 28 May 2025: Infosecurity Europe, the most influential information security event, running from the 3-5 June 2025 at ExCeL has announced the introduction of new theatres as AI will be a key theme of the event, not only as a threat but also as a powerful catalyst for industry change. As artificial intelligence continues to transform both the attack landscape and internal security strategies, Infosecurity Europe 2025 will respond with a sharp focus on realigning priorities across the cybersecurity community.
According to Infosecurity Europe’s 2025 Cybersecurity Trends Report, AI-generated attacks are now the primary driver of cybersecurity investment. Generative AI has overtaken other concerns to become the top perceived risk among 28% of cybersecurity professionals. The impact of AI is far-reaching, with 78% saying it will force a complete overhaul of their security strategy, 71% believe it will increase automation across their organisation, and 80% report that AI is now a regular topic of discussion at board level.

Geopolitics tops cyber agenda as Rory Stewart and NCSC’s Paul Chichester

Infosecurity Europe, ExCeL London, 14 May 2025: Infosecurity Europe, the most influential information security event, running from the 3-5 June 2025 at ExCeL London, has announced that Rory Stewart OBE and Paul Chichester, Director of Operations at the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), will headline day two of this year’s event with keynote sessions focused on the growing connection between geopolitics and cybersecurity.
Infosecurity Europe will explore how power shifts, alliances, and economic pressures are intensifying and increasing the complexity of digital defence strategies for organisations worldwide.
Rory Stewart’s keynote, Shifting Sands: Geopolitics, Threat and the Future, will take place on Wednesday, 4th Jun at 10:05 and will explore how the geopolitical world order is evolving at an unprecedented pace. With global instability at its highest in decades and as nations adapt to new alliances and economic pressures, digital warfare tactics are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
Building on this theme, Paul Chichester, Director of Operations, NCSC, will follow on the Keynote Stage at 12:20 for The Cyber Cold War? Geopolitics Driving Cyber Threat, offering insights from the frontline of UK national defence. Chichester will share intelligence on the tactics evolving across regions, the emergence of new international actors, and the strategic targeting of UK infrastructure.
